Manufacturing Engineer

Vickerstock is working in partnership with a leading Manufacturing firm in Banbridge to assist them with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Engineer.
The role involves working heavily with different departments to ensure tracked data is maintained, improved and built upon to ensure a smoother and more efficient manufacturing process across the site.
Your key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Communicate with source document preparers to clarify questions, resolve discrepancies, or obtain missing information.
Review data entries and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy.
Gather, organise, and validate data before input.
Support the development and upkeep of a streamlined and effective record management system.
Develop and manage Manufacturing BoM (Bill of Materials) templates within the ERP system.
Generate reports to support accurate BoM creation and ensure a "right first time" approach.
Schedule products in the ERP system according to the master production plan and any engineering updates.
Participate in daily production meetings to stay informed on current production activities.
Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, planning, purchasing, stores, and manufacturing.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally you will have.

At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering department.
Experience working with Bill of Materials and ERP systems.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
