Job Description

Purpose of the job:

This interesting opportunity is a newly created role to perform manufacturing engineering for FOX-VPS as well as coordinating the transfer of work between Enhanced Engineering Group (EEG) businesses.

FOX-VPS Ltd, based in Camberley, Surrey, specialises in the manufacture of precision machined castings, components and finished assemblies for the defence, aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil and gas and other specialised industrial markets. We also manufacture hydraulic actuators, valves, fire protection, bearings and associated equipment for the aerospace, automotive and specialised industrial markets worldwide.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1.

Manufacturing engineering support for all Project Engineers as required for new estimates/quotes

2. Manufacturing engineering support for new product introductions:

a. Generation of manufacturing plan

b. Generation of PFMEA

c. Generation of risk assessment

d. Routings

e. Fixtures and tooling

3. Coordinate and manage the transfer of machining work between EEG businesses (currently FOX-VPS and PACE)

4. Support the facilities requirements including buildings, plant and equipment

5. Support the Engineering, Operations and Quality functions with root cause analysis and problem solving

a. Customer NCR's

b. Supplier quality/delivery issues

6. Support Management System improvements and introductions as required

As well as any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties that may be required.

Due to the nature of our work security clearance will be required and the successful candidate must meet the eligibility requirements for that.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-60,000.00 per year
