across the assembly line.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
daily on-shift, lineside support
to production, resolving technical issues such as missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, and tooling concerns.
Identify, analyse, and resolve
recurring technical issues
beyond the scope of operators and First Line Managers.
Collaborate closely with production teams to enhance efficiency, productivity, and process adherence.
Manage
work orders
for non-standard or out-of-sequence work.
Escalate complex issues to supporting functions (Work Prep, Maintenance, MAP, Outstanding Work) when required.
Support
capacity planning and management
, anticipating workload fluctuations and skills requirements.
Drive continuous improvement activities and contribute to achieving
industrial excellence
across manufacturing operations.
About You
Proven experience in
manufacturing engineering
- ideally within
aerospace
, or a large-scale global manufacturing environment.
Strong
problem-solving
and
analytical
skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent
communication
and
organisational
skills.
NVQ Level 4 / HNC
or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable).
Familiarity with
CATIA
and
SAP
is an advantage.
* A basic understanding of
aircraft build philosophy
would be beneficial.
