Rate:

26.92/hour PAYE or 36.00/hour Umbrella

Shift Pattern:

Double Day Shift (20% uplift)

Week 1: 6:00am - 1:10pm Week 2: 1:30pm - 8:40pm

Overtime:

Paid over 35 hours - 25% Mon-Fri, 50% Sat-Sun

About the Role




Morson is currently recruiting a

Manufacturing Engineer

on behalf of our

aerospace manufacturing client

based in Broughton.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing engineering team supporting one of the most advanced aircraft production programmes in the world. You'll work at the centre of a fast-paced production environment, driving

continuous improvement

, resolving technical issues, and supporting

efficiency and cycle-time improvement projects

across the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities



Provide

daily on-shift, lineside support

to production, resolving technical issues such as missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, and tooling concerns. Identify, analyse, and resolve

recurring technical issues

beyond the scope of operators and First Line Managers. Collaborate closely with production teams to enhance efficiency, productivity, and process adherence. Manage

work orders

for non-standard or out-of-sequence work. Escalate complex issues to supporting functions (Work Prep, Maintenance, MAP, Outstanding Work) when required. Support

capacity planning and management

, anticipating workload fluctuations and skills requirements. Drive continuous improvement activities and contribute to achieving

industrial excellence

across manufacturing operations.

About You



Proven experience in

manufacturing engineering

- ideally within

aerospace

, or a large-scale global manufacturing environment. Strong

problem-solving

and

analytical

skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. Excellent

communication

and

organisational

skills.

NVQ Level 4 / HNC

or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable). Familiarity with

CATIA

and

SAP

is an advantage. * A basic understanding of

aircraft build philosophy

would be beneficial.
