Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows. Analyse production data and identify areas for process improvement. Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Develop and maintain process documentation (e.g., work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans). Support new product introduction and coordinate with R&D, quality, and production teams. Evaluate and implement new tools, fixtures, and technologies to improve productivity. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely engineering support. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role (internships included). Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in [specific industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics]. Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
