Working as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team alongside R&D, Operations & Quality you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting the manufacturing processes and equipment to enable volume production of Buhler products whilst ensuring focus on increasing their quality, repeatability, and efficiency within a safe working environment.

You will be responsible for:



Participating in new product introductions and product transfers to other Buhler sites Change requests and updating relevant production documentation and systems Supporting and improving current production processes For technical queries and to liaise with the design authority on mechanical, optical, electronic and electrical issues Providing support for quality investigations and improvement initiatives Assisting with the coordination of external equipment maintenance contractors These are the skills you'll need
Required qualifications:



HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering Demonstrable experience in manufacturing engineering Ability to work flexibly and in a team Ability to take independent actions within a framework of guidelines and efficiently organize and manage tasks to meet target deadlines


Desirable qualifications:



Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering Six Sigma Green belt / Black belt

Remuneration:



* Between 35K to 40K (depending on skills and experience)
