Manufacturing Engineer - A350 Production Line
Broughton - Onsite working
12 month Contract
(Inside IR35)
36 p/h via an umbrella company
Double Day Shift Pattern (20% uplift on rate)
Alternating weeks of morning and afternoon Monday to Friday
Mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm
Afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pm
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team supporting a fast-paced aerospace production environment. This role focuses on lineside support, driving continuous improvement, resolving technical issues, and enhancing production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-shift support for technical issues including missing parts, non-conformities, and tooling concerns.
  • Lead and support improvement initiatives to optimize cycle time and operational efficiency.
  • Manage out-of-cycle work orders and escalate unresolved issues to relevant support functions.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to industrial excellence standards.
  • Support capacity planning and skill development in response to production changes.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent (preferred)
  • Background in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience with CATIA and SAP is advantageous
  • Basic understanding of aircraft build processes
