To support the manufacturing and assembly of induction heating coils and components, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery and hand tools to manufacture or assemble induction heating components and equipment.
Brazing and Soldering
Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications accurately.
Carry out basic testing and inspection of parts to ensure quality compliance.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety procedures.
Assist in the preparation of materials, components, and work areas for production tasks.
Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production deadlines.
Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience of using a wide range of machinery and hand tools.
Good understanding of mechanical assembly processes.
Ability to braze and solder
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a factory environment.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Hold a full driving license
Allowed to work in the UK
Desirable Skills (Advantageous but not essential)
Experience with induction heating equipment or electrical/mechanical assembly.
Forklift truck license or other relevant certifications.
Basic electrical knowledge or wiring experience.
Qualifications
GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths (preferred).
NVQ Level 2/3 in Manufacturing or Engineering (advantageous).
Additional Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Willingness to undergo training and adapt to new production methods or equipment.
Ability to listen and take instructions positively.
Positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
