Job Description

EM Resolutions Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled full time Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our dynamic team based on the Science and Innovation Park at Keele University (part time may be available for the right candidate). As a Manufacturing Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process, assisting in the manufacturing, testing, and quality control of microscopy products whilst meeting production deadlines. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be a part of a growing company in the field of electron microscopy.

Responsibilities:



Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Perform daily lab activities including sample preparation, equipment operation, and data analysis and preparing and handling samples for analysis. Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment and machinery, including microscopes, fume hood and coating equipment. Conducting quality control tests to ensure the conformity and functionality of manufactured products and compliance with company standards. Collaborating with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines. Assisting in developing and optimizing the manufacturing processes. Maintaining accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including batch records and inventory management. Adhering to company policies and procedures and complying with relevant regulations and industry standards. Following strict safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organized working environment.

Requirements:



Qualification in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Life Science, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent experience working in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, preferably in a microscopy-related field. High level of manual dexterity / fine motor skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures and work with precision. Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety protocols. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
