Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

Salary: 15.50-16.00/hour starting | 16.50-17.00/hour after training (12-18 months)

6.00am - 2.30 pm Mon - Thursday

6.00am - 1.30pm Friday

Team Size: Up to 16 staff

The Role

As a Line Leader, you'll take charge of a production cell, managing up to 16 team members. You'll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive performance against key metrics. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to motivate, organise, and improve will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and organise daily production activities Deliver team briefings and manage Tier 1 performance boards Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and industry standards Allocate tasks fairly and support cross-training Monitor and update training matrices Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Manage minor HR issues (e.g. return-to-work, lateness reports) Collaborate across departments to maximise productivity
What We're Looking For

leadership and team-building skills, however we have training in place, so if you have been seconded as a leader and want to step up. Health & Safety awareness and risk management understanding within manufacturing. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and out-of-hours when needed Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, would be desirable. Background from volume manufacturing required. A proactive attitude toward personal and team development No formal degree required--just the drive to lead and grow
