THE ROLE



Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with production teams, the Manufacturing Manager will oversee the daily operations of Titan Energies' machining and manufacturing functions. This role is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, health and safety compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Manager plays a critical role in resource planning, team development, and delivering both operational and strategic objectives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:



Engage with Field Services, Engineering, and HSEQ & Testing teams to align on production needs and delivery timelines Oversee Manufacturing operations including CNC operations, post process treatments, scheduling and resource allocation to maximise efficiency Lead, manage, support and develop the Manufacturing team Ensure equipment, tooling, and resources are available and effectively utilised Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures to achieve right first time quality and efficiency Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances for consistent, high quality production Support Engineering team to optimise component designs for streamlined manufacturing Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure reliable machine performance Ensure accurate production records, job tracking, and reporting for management review Drive quality checks, root cause analysis, and corrective actions when non-conformances occur Manage stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to support operations

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Adhere to existing work practices, methods and procedures Continuously review and evaluate existing workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement enhanced or standardised procedures to drive efficiency and consistency Undertake relevant training and development activities as required Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines Comply with Titan Energies' health and safety policies and procedures Perform any reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function in line with the level of responsibility of the role Familiarity with the Titan Organisation Chart, from Line Manager to the wider company structure.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



10 years' experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer Proven background in management within a production environment Excellent knowledge of safety protocols.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety Strong analytical, problem solving and computer skills Knowledge of metals and other materials Organisational Skills - Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Time Management - Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills..

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:



Must hold current UK work eligibility status In any small organisation, the team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities during daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job description for an equivalent position elsewhere. It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for him/herself, and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.
