The Opportunity

This is your chance to lead from the front in one of the most dynamic food manufacturing environments in the UK. As Manufacturing Manager on our rotational shift pattern, you'll be the driving force behind daily production excellence, safety standards, and team performance.

You'll have complete autonomy for managing the full site manufacturing process on a rotational shift, ensuring every line is set up, every team member is ready, and every production target is on track before the day even begins. This is a hands-on, visible leadership role where your impact is immediate and measurable.

Shift Pattern:

Rotational shift, Week One: Monday-Saturday, 07:00-15:00, Week Two: Monday-Friday, 15:00-Finish (typically 23:00-02:00)
What You'll Be Doing

Leading with Purpose:

Champion a zero-compromise approach to Health & Safety, food safety, and hygiene standards Drive exceptional quality and housekeeping through Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Build, develop and inspire high-performing teams across all levels Own the training and development strategy for your area, creating tomorrow's leaders today

Driving Performance:

Hit production targets consistently while maintaining our quality standards Challenge the status quo - introduce innovative KPIs that push performance forward Master the metrics: yields, throughputs, labour efficiencies, wastage, and cost control Navigate the NPD process, bringing new products from concept to production seamlessly

Creating Excellence:

Plan, organise and optimise labour and material requirements with precision Ensure crystal-clear communication flows throughout your teams Foster a culture that reflects our family values: trust, quality, and passion Lead recruitment and build a team that's as committed as you are
Who You Are

The Essentials:

Proven production or section management experience in food manufacturing (chilled or frozen preferred) Deep understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and their real-world application Expert knowledge of retailer expectations and the standards required to exceed them HACCP qualified (or equivalent food safety certification) The kind of leader who inspires through action, not just words
