The Manufacturing Manager leads the Production & Maintenance teams in the plant to ensure a lean Manufacturing process by optimizing productivity, assuring EHS compliance, and respecting quality requirements.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you are the local process owner of the following processes: Maintenance & Production.
Key Responsibilities
Defines and implements the optimal shifting model and staffing of Production & Maintenance teams.
Establishes a lean Manufacturing process by leading, coordinating, and prioritizing Production & Maintenance activities.
Ensures EHS compliance within his/her area of responsibility.
Monitors and reports progress on the Production & Maintenance targets to the Plant Management Team and HQ, implementing corrective actions in case of deviation.
Leads continuous improvement in terms of productivity by reducing downtime, optimizing cycle time, and promoting lean staffing, among others.
Ensures proper Maintenance of all the assets in the plant (machinery and tooling, buildings, etc.).
Defines and implements the preventive Maintenance plan through the CMMS.
Maintains and continuously improves the Total Productive Maintenance system.
Defines the optimal inventory of spare parts and monitors it through the CMMS.
Monitors and manages the obsolescence of equipment/parts in the plant.
Provide the proper technical support and assistance to the Production & Maintenance teams.
Ensures compliance with group procedures and legal requirements within his/her area of responsibility.
Cooperates with the Quality Manager to ensure a capable and robust Manufacturing process.
Leads and supervises the Production and Maintenance teams in the plant, including the assessment reviews of his/her direct reports.
Defines and implements flexibility measures to minimize the impact on the staff costs from variations of customers' demand.
Monitors the Skills and Qualifications matrix of the Production and Maintenance teams as a basis for training and development.
Education and Experience
You have a degree in Engineering or equivalent. Technical background required.
At least 3 years of experience in managerial positions related to Production and Maintenance in a highly automated Manufacturing environment.
Functional competencies
You have excellent communication & presentation skills.
Good knowledge of the applicable IATF 16949 and ISO 14001/45001 principles if applicable.
You have technical field knowledge: pneumatics, mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and industrial communications.
You are familiar with ERP/MES/CMMS solutions.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools.
You are fluent in the local language and in English.
You have excellent MS Office skills.

Pay: 60,000.00-65,000.00 per year
