The Role



We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to be based at our brand new state-of-the-art facility at Broadland Business Park. You will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient management of manufacturing operations and our team, while meeting production plan requirements and consistently upholding or exceeding standards in health and safety, environmental protection, quality, and food safety. This role encompasses all aspects of factory operations, including material flow, production, processing, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on effective risk management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborate closely with the operation team to deliver the Snack Creations vision. Provide strong leadership to ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, achieving all related KPIs and fostering a world-class safety culture. Ensure all production, food safety, and quality standards comply with statutory, company, and customer requirements. Lead the day-to-day delivery of excellent customer service, consistently meeting business expectations. Take full ownership of operational costs and budgets, including volume delivery, cycle counts, waste management, regrind generation/inclusion, and labour management (including overtime). Manage OEE and yield performance by implementing clear improvement plans, reducing waste, and maintaining a high standard of escalation. Develop team leaders and the production team through structured training, coaching, and ongoing development. Implement initiatives that motivate and engage employees, driving commitment and performance. Work closely with the R&D team to support product processing and innovation. Oversee the delivery of capital projects within the area, ensuring timelines and benefits are achieved. Champion change management by ensuring robust processes are in place to minimise business risk. Play an integral role in training and developing team members at all levels. Embed continuous improvement practices into daily operations, implementing root cause solutions and fostering a proactive, sustainable culture.

The Candidate



We're looking for a highly experienced and driven individual with a proven track record in a food manufacturing environment, ideally within FMCG. You will have experience of leading continuous improvement and change initiatives, including the implementation of new processes and systems, while consistently achieving operational KPIs.

You will have a proven record of coaching and developing teams, coupled with outstanding people management and leadership skills with a natural flair for engaging, supporting and motivating your team to excel under pressure.

You will be a strong communicator, confident operating at a senior level with high levels of accountability and autonomy. You will be a collaborative team player, committed to operational excellence, high standards, and continuous improvement.

Hours and Benefits
