About the Role:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager to join our business in Parkgate, Rotherham on a permanent basis. The starting salary and package are negotiable for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production schedules to ensure targets, quality standards, and customer deadlines are met.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all operations meet legal, regulatory, and company safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Allocate staff, machinery, and materials effectively to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
• Work closely with quality teams to maintain product standards, address defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor operational costs, reduce waste, and ensure operations stay within budget.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to maintain smooth flow of materials.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting regularly to senior management.
• Lead operational changes such as new technologies, systems, or processes to support growth and innovation.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and People Management.
• Ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive efficiency.
• Clear, confident communication with staff, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality standards.
• Strong ability to prioritise, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and align operations with business objectives.
