Trademaster are currently seeking manufacturing operatives to work for a well known company that produce general wiring cables and flexible cords . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location : Bentley DN5

This role is days & nights rotating :

Week 1 = Monday to Thursday - Days - 6am - 6pm Week 2 = Monday to Wednesday - Days - 6am - 6pm Week 3 = Monday to Thursday - Nights - 6pm - 6am Week 4 = Monday to Wednesday - Nights - 6pm - 6am
Pay is 12.21 on days overtime after 46 hours is 18.31 per hour

Pay is 13.43 on days overtime after 46 hours is 20.14 per hour

Paid weekly every Friday

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production processes. Perform quality checks on products to maintain high standards of quality control. Assist in the assembly of products, following detailed instructions and specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting. Ability to lift and move heavy items as required by the role. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including potential overtime.
