About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operative, you'll work across different sections of the Engineering Department to support the production of metal furniture components. No two days are the same -- you'll gain experience across workshop, welding, and paint plant areas.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop:
CNC tube bending
Tapping metal components
Prepping metal for the welding team
Welding:
MIG welding (mainly) and some TIG welding - full training provided
Plasma cutting
Operating robotic welders
Paint Plant:
Hanging metal components on the track for powder coating
Taking off coated components
Touch-up spraying to ensure perfect finishes
Material handling and prepping tables with bungs
Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:45 pm
Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm (early finish)
40 hours per week, confirmed on a weekly basis
Pay & Benefits
12.21 per hour basic rate
Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x after 40 hours, 2x after 48 hours)
Weekly pay -- every Friday
28 days holiday entitlement (2 weeks' notice to book)

What You'll Need
Safety boots and high-vis PPE (essential)
A reliable and proactive work ethic
Ability to work as part of a team
Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or welding is advantageous -- but full training will be provided.
