An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team here at Battles.

Battles started in 1832 and is an award-winning manufacturer and leading provider of all of the major animal health, equestrian and pet care brands worldwide. 193 years later, we are still going from strength-to-strength and are continuing to carve our name as the first choice equestrian wholesaler.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our manufacturing team who develop our unique products through the use of raw materials and production methods.

This role is full time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Responsibilities:

Fork Lift Driving - Counterbalance Weighing out raw materials accurately with attention to detail essential. Follow production documents with precision to manufacture finished products. Ensure the correct use of PPE. Fill finished products in to bulk containers. Booking in materials using the correct procedure. Maintain the cleanliness of the departments and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Fork lift counterbalance licence - essential Fluent in the English language to ensure products manufactured safely and correctly. You like a challenge and enjoy problem solving. Previous experience working in a production environment. You will be conscientious and attention to detail matters to you Ability to use your initiative and work well on your own and within a team. Basic Math skills. Health and Safety conscious. Some heavy lifting maybe required.

Pay: 12.96 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
