Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join a busy team in the heart of Longton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Applicants who have operated machinery previously would be advantageous for this role.

Duties

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform quality checks on products throughout the production process. Assist in the assembly of products according to specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Familiarity with operating machinery or tools is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
