Job Description

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives based in the Norwich area. This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity.
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and tools used in the manufacturing of windows (e.g., saws, welders, routers)
  • Assemble window frames, sashes, and fittings following production specifications
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and any defects
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Report faulty machinery or tools to the supervisor
  • Any other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in window manufacturing or a similar production environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
  • Good understanding of measurements and basic math skills
  • Physically fit - able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 15:00 - 00:00
