Manufacturing Operative (uk Residency)
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an operative to join a well-established team based in Pontypool. GC Manufacturing have a strong placement within the Newbuild Construction industry.
Our Head office and factories are based in Pontypool South Wales with operating regions in Wales & South West, South East, North Midlands, and North East Midlands. As a team we have excellent history and an enviable position in the market with current growth allowing opportunity to expand further within our field.
Should you be a person looking for job security then this is a full-time permanent opportunity, the working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 16.00pm and Friday 7:00am to 13.00pm however at times your working hours may vary to accommodate the operations demands. You will receive a competitive hourly rate workplace pension, 33 days annual leave (inc. Bank Holidays) and the knowledge of joining a positive and fun team with a can-do attitude.

Key responsibilities and Duties
Work within Health & Safety guidelines and to report ricks and hazards.
Ensure the manufacturing schedule is achieved quickly and efficiently in order to meet targets and deadlines.
Use of CNC machinery, sawing, welding, corner cleaning, drills, and hand tools
Provide QC inspections of products within the manufacturing process and incoming materials.
Skills/Knowledge
Driving Licence and own transport desirable due to location
Experience of working in the UPVC industry not essential.
Effective communicational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
A passion for making a positive difference with integrity, teamwork determination and pride.
Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
