Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Operator with an Counterbalance FLT Licence to join our clients dynamic team in a technical production and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes, ensuring that batches are mixed efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• 6-2/2-10 rotating
• 06:00 - 14:00 - 12.50 per hour
• 14:00 - 22:00 - 15.00 per hour
• Pension scheme of up to 10%
• Extra weeks pay at Christmas
• Breaks are paid.
• Time off in lieu (TOIL) employees can take time off work instead of receiving overtime pay for extra hours worked
• 23 days holiday pay + 6 balance days (extra time off)
• increase in pay once fully trained and competent in the full process
• Temporary to permanent position, you will be given a contract depending on
• timekeeping, attendance and success.
• 2 week shut down during summer holidays.

THE ROLE:

• Operate and monitor production mixing machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
• Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified measurements and components, utilising basic maths skills for precise calculations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• FLT driving throughout the day to maneuver pallets of raw materials and finished goods around the shop floor
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality control.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and mixing of raw materials

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure while adhering to deadlines. * Must have an FLT Counterbalance licence

• Experience in a production or manufacturing setting, working with raw materials.
• Be technically minded and have the ability to understand the process for the manufacture of their product during training
