The Role
We are looking for a
Manufacturing Operative
to work flexibly across both our Woodmill and Frame Assembly departments. This is a hands-on role that involves supporting a variety of production tasks, depending on workload and business needs. It's ideal for someone who is adaptable, practical, and enjoys variety in their work.Key Responsibilities:
Support timber preparation in the Woodmill, including use of hand tools and machinery Assist with frame assembly, including stapling, gluing, and handling components Work accurately to production instructions and quality standards Perform manual handling and lifting tasks as required Maintain a clean and safe working environment across both areas
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting preferred Comfortable working with tools and machinery (training provided if needed) A team player who can adapt to different tasks and priorities Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic Commitment to health and safety practices
