Job Description

You will be responsible for assisting in the production of sheet to the required customer specification and in accordance with Company SOPs.

Main duties:

"Haul off' of rolls at the end of the extrusion line Pack finished goods in accordance with agreed packing specifications Apply appropriate labelling to finished goods Log both 'good' and 'scrap' material accurately and efficiently Cut cores and replenish consumable goods as appropriate to ensure effective running of line Ensure bath units are topped up with correct solution Conduct and accurately record quality control checks, taking remedial action where required Clean rollers as required to ensure effective operation of equipment Ensure raw materials supplies and material feed are maintained Removal of 'scrap' product, following appropriate procedures Follow appropriate procedure to notify the Company if the product is out of specification Adopt a 'clean as you go' approach to ensure housekeeping standards are effectively maintained Carry out duties in accordance with all Company policies, procedures and SOP's Support and train colleagues where necessary, in line with work instructions and standard operating procedures Carry out duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Contribute to and participate in Company activities Contribute to the business by identifying opportunities for improving working practices, processes and/or procedures based on experience Carry out additional and/or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business

Applicants should ideally have:

Production experience gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Hours of work:

Continental shift pattern. 6:30am or pm start time. Day and night shift on rotation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.79 per hour, paid for full 12 hr shift without deductions for breaks
