Role Purpose
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial control projects.
This role requires an understanding of electrical manufacturing processes, project lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

Key Contacts
This position interacts with both internal and external contacts, including Production Manager, SHEQ Director, Procurement Manager, Finance Team, Customers and Suppliers.
Project Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end project management for industrial controls manufacturing, from design handoff to final delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams.
Technical Oversight
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during production.
Bids & Proposals
Reviewing the client Request for Quotation (RFQ) to understand scope and deliverables
Writing clear, compelling technical and commercial proposals, including compliance matrices, project timelines, and value propositions.
Engage in clarification sessions and participate in both pre- and post-bid reviews as needed.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients.
Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
Manage scope adjustments effectively.
Quality & Compliance
Responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Ensure that testing, inspection, and documentation processes are completed fully prior to practical completion of the project.
Preparing for audits or debriefs if required.
Continuous Improvement
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing costs.
Actively support lean manufacturing practices and process optimisation on the factory floor.
Assist in collecting and analysing manufacturing data to support business intelligence and informed decision-making.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
More than 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving control panels or electrical assembly.
Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Project, ERP platforms, Primavera P6, and Power BI.
PMP certification is preferred or currently being pursued.
Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Work Environment:
Combination of office and factory floor environments based at LCA Group's advanced manufacturing facility based in Hawarden
Occasional travel to customer sites or suppliers may be required.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
