be the Heartbeat of our Production Lines!
This is a Permanent full time position working an average of 42 hours per week 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6:00am-18:00pm. (DAYS)

What does this corker of a job entail?
We're inviting dedicated and experienced Level 4 Manufacturing Shift Technicians to join our vibrant team. These roles are perfect for people who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and are passionate about maintaining excellence in production processes.
To comply with Site Standards to maintain a high degree of both personal and product safety.
To be proficient in the operation of all machinery on all lines, to ensure efficient running of the equipment to deliver production requirements.
To fault find and resolve minor line defects and machine faults and where necessary escalate to the engineering support team for resolution.
To carry out line change-overs as required within scope, with engineering support as required.
To liaise and work with the shift leader (Shift Manager/ Coordinator) to plan in
and execute line change-overs
To contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives as required (Efficiency Improvements, Waste reduction etc) .
To ensure all on line checks and associated documentation/production recording is completed in line with business requirements and standards.
To ensure Raw Materials issued to line are correct and report any deviation if seen.
To maintain a high degree of personal and workplace hygiene standard, in accordance with expectations of a Food Manufacturing facility.
To be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken format across all levels within the business and as required external suppliers/customers.
To be part of a continuous training plan to enhance and upskill people in line with business needs.
To own personal training and development plan.
To be able to work autonomously and was part pf a wider team to ensure production requirements are met.
To be able to monitor, record and interpret information to feed any gaps in associated KPIs.
To be able to step up for Coordinator/Team Leader if required.
To train/coach other team members as requested.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested in relation to business needs.
Key Ingredients
Previous experience of working within a FMCG production environment. Preferably with experience gained within a bottling or liquid filling industry.
Experience of compliance to hygiene and safety standards. Preferably with experience gained within a Food/Drink/Pharmaceutical industry.
Good general education - Mathematical and Written ability to enable accurate production records are maintained and be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct basic mathematic calculations/written statements in line with requirements for this role.
Basic PC / IT literacy is required to perform certain aspects within the role.
Experience of basic mechanical/machine knowledge or exposure (either through employment history or from personal activities).
Able to communicate at all levels via various communication channels (verbal, written, pictorial)
Experience of Good Manufacturing Practices and or LEAN manufacturing techniques are desirable but not essential.
