We're looking for an experienced
Manufacturing Supervisor
to oversee our part of our mechanical manufacturing team, ensuring customer orders are built and assembled on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing daily hands-on leadership and motivation to a team of mechanical fitters who are building and assembling automated systems and equipment
Taking full ownership of projects, from build through to on-site installation and supervision at customer premises
Planning and coordinating daily tasks to meet weekly production schedules
Reporting progress and key updates to the Manufacturing Manager
Responding to technical issues and challenges effectively
Championing continuous improvement across manufacturing processes
Ensuring Health & Safety compliance, including PPE use and risk assessments
Supporting personnel management activities such as mentoring, performance monitoring, and disciplinary processes
Working in line with company procedures and quality standards
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or responsible role within a manufacturing / assembly environment or similar
Strong hands-on background in mechanical fitting
Proven ability to deliver projects to deadlines while solving problems effectively
HNC qualification (or equivalent) in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
Willingness and ability to travel both UK and worldwide as required, therefore driving licence and passport is essential.
