Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll take ownership of the safe, efficient and compliant running of the manufacturing area -- ensuring our teams deliver on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
You'll lead, coach and inspire a team of operators across
Extrusion, Lamination, Print, Conversion, Warehousing, and Engineering
to achieve high standards of performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4 on 4 off (2 Days / 2 Nights - 6 am to 6 pm / 6 pm to 6 am) - average 42 hours per week

What You'll Do
People Leadership
Lead, motivate and develop a team of operators to achieve safety, quality, and output targets.
Manage attendance, conduct, and performance in line with company policy.
Encourage collaboration and a positive team culture built on trust, respect, and accountability.
Support individual growth through coaching, feedback, and development plans.
Operational Control
Oversee the daily manufacturing process to ensure safe and efficient production.
Monitor output, OEE, downtime, and scrap rates -- taking proactive steps to maintain targets.
Deliver thorough handovers and maintain clear communication with the Manufacturing Manager.
Health & Safety
Champion a strong safety culture through compliance and leading by example.
Conduct safety walks and encourage hazard reporting.
Ensure PPE compliance and contribute to continuous safety improvements.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Maintain and enforce quality standards and GMP practices.
Identify and resolve non-conformances in collaboration with QA and Engineering.
Promote 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication & Reporting
Lead daily team briefings to review KPIs, priorities, and updates.
Liaise effectively across departments -- Maintenance, QA, Planning -- to ensure smooth operations.
Provide timely shift and performance reports.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a
supervisory or team leader role
within a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of production processes, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / BRCGS preferred).
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Lean or Continuous Improvement experience desirable.
First Aid or Fire Marshal training would be an advantage.
