We are seeking 3 individuals for team leader responsibilities for the areas of cutting & welding shop, fabrication & beading shop & logistics.

Reports to: Works Supervisor

In addition to performing his/her normal work, has the specific responsibility for leading the work of other employees in the day-to-day running of the areas for which you will be responsible.

Instructing persons under your leadership in the order in which work is to be carried out.

Ensuring the quality of work leaving your areas are to the highest standard.

Ensuring that all records of work performed, materials used and attendance of employees under your control are recorded in the correct way.

Provide the necessary training in order that the work in your area will be performed correctly and expediently.

Ensure that the workplace under your control is safe and without risk to health and that the behaviour of all persons in the workplace is safe and without risk to health. More specifically, you shall always be expected to detect any unsafe or unhealthy condition or behaviour and have the authority to undertake remedial action and notify Works Management.

Propose any training requirements and re-grading of employees under your control.

Assist in the co-ordination of workflow across all areas of the Factory.

Assist in the allocation of personnel to each area.

Perform such duties as necessary, in order to, start the Factory's operation 15 minutes prior to start time in the morning and stop it at the end of the final shift of the day. Authority should also be required at break and lunchtimes.

Have the responsibility of securing the Factory after the final shift or unlocking the Factory at the start of the first shift and reporting any problems with security to Production Management.

Hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm - with additional overtime

Wages will be 16.32 per hour

Bonus scheme paid quarterly
