Job Summary


Unsupervised manufacturing role with potential to become supervisor/manager.

This role is a full production role manufacturing pre-cast products.

Day to day the process involves

Machine Mixing materials, filling silicone moulds with the mix by hand using a vibrating table.

Placing moulds in the drying room.

Following day to remove moulds, remove casted products, then to stain them using powder dyes, before sealing them and packaging them.

This role is ideal for someone working on their own as 50 percent of the time it will be an unsupervised role. It is expected after 3 months that a further member of staff will be added and this role will then become a supervisor role In addition. (Pay rise)

The role is very labour intensive carrying approximately 15 x 25kg bags a day in addition to moving 120 moulds weighing 10kg each.

Overtime is offered on weekends and weekdays.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work alone in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform manufacturing duties of filling moulds. Creative element of dying the products to match our quality . Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment performance. Collaborate with director to improve processes and enhance productivity. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills



Proficiency in operating manufacturing machinery and tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting is advantageous. Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 45 per week
