Diamond Corrugated is a successful locally owned manufacturer of corrugated packaging with over 50 years in business. We are seeking to recruit a talented Manufacturing Technician to join our Production team based in Derry City.

Following investment in recent years we are considered one of the most advanced manufacturers in our sector in the UK and Ireland. We pride ourselves in customer service, product and technical capability.

This is a full?time fixed?term position for an initial three?month period, with potential for permanent placement thereafter.

Monday to Friday - rotating days shifts (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm)

Full training will be provided.

Role and Responsibilities include:

Playing a lead role in the efficient operation of production machinery. Set up, monitor and adjust production processes and equipment to ensure high quality and high speed productivity. Be technically minded with a strong desire to learn and develop. Input production information into computerised system. Contribute to preventative and general machinery maintenance. Work to high levels of Health & Safety standards ensuring you and your colleagues are safe at all times. Possess the ambition to progress to a lead supervisory role within a relatively short space of time.
Ideal candidates will hold relevant qualification(s) and/or have significant experience in a similar environment. However consideration will also be given to those with less experience who demonstrate strong ambition to learn and develop a career in manufacturing.

Applicants with mechanical, production or engineering experience are particularly welcome.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
