Manufacturing Technician

Fujichem Sonneborn is a Paint & coatings manufacturer with a manufacturing facility in Holmewood near Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

FCS is a well-established company and has been in existence for over 120 years, supplying a range of industries but primarily focused on supply to the automotive industry, Both in the UK and across Europe.

Shifts and starting salary

:

Annual salary for the role is starting at 23,334 based on a 35-hour working week as follows:

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm (30 minute unpaid break)

Friday - 8.00am - 1.30pm (30 minute unpaid break)

Role:

We are looking to find new staff to join our team to work in our production facility, where our products are made, colour matched & tested.

Candidates will need to be team players, show a willingness to learn, and become fully aware of our high quality requirements & site safety procedures and expectations.

Ability to operate machinery (essential)

Good team player with a long term view Excellent communication skills Ability to work to tight deadlines with a flexible approach Enthusiastic, can-do attitude & willing to learn new skills Can follow written instructions & procedures

Qualifications: (Desired but not essential)

Fork Lift Truck Licence (or be willing to undertake training within 6 months) GCSE level or above or equivalent Qualifications and experience achieved within the paint or coatings industry would be an advantage
