Job Purpose:




The manufacturing team at IPEC are committed to maintaining production efficiency, meeting growing customer needs, and ensuring quality control. To support our day-to-day operations and enhance capacity during peak periods, we are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join the team.


As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production, assembly, and test activities. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine maintenance on equipment, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues, and providing flexibility across production. You will ensure compliance with standard operating procedures to maintain high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the production, assembly, and testing of products to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Perform regular and proactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime. Assist in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues to maintain continuous production flow. Adapt to various production demands, seamlessly transitioning between small-scale and high-volume production as needed. Ensure all activities comply with standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality standards and safety protocols. Support and implement strategies to reduce delays and improve production scheduling. Help ensure contractual lead times are met and maintaining efficient production processes. And, contribute to planned growth, future automation efforts, and introduction of new product lines.

The Ideal Person:




The ideal candidate for this role will possess previous experience in a manufacturing environment, along with a good understanding of automation and lean manufacturing principles. We seek a proactive individual who excels in hands-on tasks, is meticulous with attention to detail, and has strong problem-solving skills. They will be adaptable, capable of seamlessly transitioning between small-scale and high-volume production, and responsive to the dynamic needs of our operations.
