We are looking for a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to work with our expert Engineering team of employees across the world. Do you have a passion for Engineering? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Use root cause analysis to solve complex manufacturing and quality issues encompassing multiple variables
Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives by preparing Process Flow Charts, Product Risk Maps, and pFMEA to identify opportunity to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and avoid EHS Issues
Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design
Undertake Equipment and Process Qualification using QMS guidelines. Follow best practices around Installation Qualification (IQ), Process Development, Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) with a goal to develop Safe and Quality Processes
Support activities to resolve Customer complaints for manufacturing defects in a timely manner, processing complaints through the correct system and determining and resolving root cause
Create standard operating procedures (SOP) or work instructions and provide training and guidance to others
Collaborate with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required production capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand.
Develop manufacturing and/or testing processes with focus on safety, quality and repeatability for New Product Introduction projects
Participate in Environment, Health and Safety initiatives and ensure all requirements and policies are observed during change implementation.
Who you are
Strong Process Engineering background
Excellent communication skills
Experienced in PFMEA,DMAIC,5S, Lean
Strong documentation skills (work instructions, manufacturing plans etc) with a keen eye for detail
Use of Minitab advantageous
Min HNC in Science/Engineering discipline
