Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care at the end of life? Marie Curie is looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Dumfries and Galloway.


You'll be a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, providing holistic support to patients and those important to them. This role is based in the community, where you'll support clients and their families in the comfort of their own homes--ensuring dignity, comfort, and continuity of care during one of life's most important journeys.

Salary:

Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) 24,647 - 26,763 pro rata per annum + enhancements

Contract:

Permanent Part Time 27 hours per week Night Shifts 10pm to 7am and can include some occasional day shifts when required

Based:

Community Based across Gretna, Annan and Dumfriesshire and Galloway

What we're looking for:



Minimum of 6 months' experience delivering care in a health or social care setting Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this qualification A nurturing and compassionate approach, with excellent communication skills The ability to work independently while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
