Responsibilities: Review current whole platform maintenance solutions.
Analyse avaliability and failure date to define root cause.
Conduct in depth RCM studies on all systems.
Work closley with platform staff and SMEs
Ensure compliance with MOD and naval standards throughout the change process
Qualifications: Qualified Marine Engineer
HNC/HND or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture
Additional naval or defence-related qualifications are advantageous
Essential skills:
Knowledge of Sub-surface Platforms
Significant experience in defence naval operations and marine engineering
Deep understanding of RCM and FMECA
Understanding of Marine Maintenance Software
Strong coordination and administrative skills with excellent communication abilities
Proven ability to manage complex operational activities under pressure
Strong understanding of ship systems and equipment
Strong understanding of MOD and Naval Standards
Desired skills: Knowledge of Surface Platforms
Experience: Petty Officer grade or above with relevant experience
Experience working with naval clients or in a defence consultancy environment
