Your role




From river patrols aboard working vessels to strategic meetings with major customers, this is your chance to be at the heart of marine operations. You'll be coordinating vessel operations and pilotage schedules, liaising with third-party mooring contractors. You will manage marine communications, responding to customer queries efficiently via email and phone, keeping the Vessel Management System (VMS) up to date and accurate.

You'll also be supporting incident investigations and driving follow-up actions.

A key part of this role is reviewing current processes and systems, providing a fresh perspective and seeking smarter, more streamlined solutions.

What you'll bring




You'll have:
Genuine enthusiasm about developing a career in marine operations Ideally, experience in marine or port environments Strong communication with excellent coordination skills Ability to remain calm under pressure, be adaptable, and be a natural multitasker Safety-focus and be driven by continuous improvement Ideally, familiarity with marine systems and Microsoft Office A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
