Job Title: Marine Technician

Location, Fenny Marina, Fenny Compton, Station Fields, Southam, CV47 2XD

Job Summary:
To carry out the various duties needed to operate and maintain the marina services. Maintain and repair canal boats to maximise the life of boats and equipment, and to minimise mechanical failures. To undertake varied works on boats and equipment for private customers.

Responsibilities:

- The basic fault finding, maintenance, servicing and repair of;

Diesel engines and generating equipment, marine gearboxes, steering systems and stern gear. 12v, 24v and 240v electrical equipment. Plumbing, waste disposal and LPG installations.
- General maintenance, servicing and repair of the marina and boats

- Collaborate with the team to prioritize tasks and meet repair deadlines.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on marine equipment.

Skills:
- Proficiency in using Power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix marine equipment efficiently.
- Familiarity with a variety of Hand tools used in marine repair work.
