Role Overview
The Maritime Assistant team is responsible for delivering the necessary support functions to the Maritime team and wider Carnival UK team as required. The scope of the team's responsibilities includes providing the support required to place contractors and visitors on board our ships during port calls.
Reporting to the Manager, Maritime Services, the Maritime Assistant role plays a vital role in ensuring that contractors can board our ships to complete their work on our ships as required. To do this they must ensure the relevant information about the visit and visitors is completed in both an accurate and efficient way. This includes the completion of the relevant legal and security checks for visitors.
This role is extremely admin focused. The candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
