Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a company dedicated to providing pricing analysis and market intelligence on soft commodities and food ingredients. They are looking to add a Market Analyst to join their growing research team.
Responsibilities:

• Understand market statistics across soft commodities and food ingredients, being able to create awareness and suggestion dependent on data found
• Contribute to the development of new products for online platform by offering advice from data gathered from market insights
• Cultivate new relationships within soft commodities and food ingredients while building on existing ones to gather insight from market professionals
• Conduct own research within the food and softs sector as well as gather secondary information
• Write reports to demonstrate market findings
• Anticipate market movement and stay current on all relevant trends and news
• Be able to self-evaluate and evolve processes to produce overall efficiency and value of analysis

Experience:

• Hold at least 1 years' experience as a Market Analyst within a commodity trading house/ Market Research company
• Well versed with the physical commodity market across soft commodities/ food ingredients/Agriculture
• Knowledgeable on commodity pricing and key principles of trade flow, supply and demand and the connections between
• Understanding of macroeconomics factors relating to the supply and demand of products in the commodity sector
• Experience working in a quant/ technical analysis environment
