The starting salary for this permanent, full-time position is \xc2\xa331,262 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

We are excited to be hiring a new Market and Financial Administrative Assistant to join our fantastic Contract and Commissioning Support Services here in Adult Social Care.

About Us

The team is based in Woodhatch but the post is hybrid, and we have access to work from any Surrey location across the county.

The Contract and Commissioning Support Service provides robust contract management, performance and monitoring, digital systems development and support to Commissioners of Adult Social Care.

We are a countywide team, providing a strategic perspective to some of Adult Social Care\'s biggest grants and contracts. We work closely with the Procurement team and area-based Commissioners to ensure the directorate is achieving, through its commissioned services, the best value-for-money outcomes possible for its residents.

The opportunity

In this role you will be the key point of contact for ASC\'s Market Engagement Inbox where you will support providers with queries, questions and communications, especially with regards to placements and costs. You will be supporting and logging all communications, discussions, negotiations, and agreements with providers about fees and costs.

You will be working with the Care Cubed and Fee Review Team, supporting them with the administrative aspects of any financial submissions from providers and developing reference documentation and work flows to allow Commissioners and Contract Managers to make informed recommendations and decisions. There will be some administrative overlap supporting our Brokerage Team, who make these placements and agreements for ASC\'s Commissioning Team.

Part of this role will include creating and maintaining summary outputs from the systems and reporting on the levels of activity.

About you

We\'re looking for someone who is highly organised with a keen eye for detail, interested in finance and a great communicator. You\'ll need to be comfortable taking responsibility, using initiative and be confident in managing your own priorities within set procedures and processes.

Having a good working knowledge of Excel will be crucial for this position, together with excellent, general IT skills. You should have some understanding or experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and working to tight deadlines.
