We are a rapidly growing activated carbon business based on a circular economy model and market-leading technical capabilities, with sites across the UK, Europe and the United States.



Marketing is at the heart of our business; we've grown the team in the last 12 months and we're now looking to expand it further, with the new role of Market Research Analyst.

We're quite flexible regarding the structure of the role, it could be a summer internship or fixed-term contract and may also lead to a permanent position with the business.

As our Market Research Analyst, you'll use your proficiency in data analysis tools and strong understanding of market research methodologies to support our strategic decision-making through the collection, analysis and interpretation of market data.

You'll identify market opportunities by:



Reviewing and summarising legislative and regulatory changes relevant to our core business areas. Reviewing industry data sets and cross-referencing against our target lists. Environment scanning: market trends, competitors and identifying potential opportunities or threats.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in guiding commercial strategy and supporting lead generation through insightful and actionable intelligence, helping shape and deliver stellar marketing activity to drive further commercial growth.

We're looking for:



Proven experience in market research or data analysis. A degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics or a related field (or working towards). Proficiency in data visualisation tools and statistical software. First-class analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong written and verbal communication skills with high standards of accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills. Excellent IT skills with strong, proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to commute to our office in Killamarsh (S21 1TZ).
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sheffield S21 1TZ
