Job Description

The Marketing & Administrative Assistant supports the marketing and sales functions in a manufacturing environment. This role combines creative marketing work, administrative organization, and the use of modern digital and AI tools to enhance productivity, communication, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and eager to apply AI-driven solutions to marketing and administrative processes.

What will the apprentice be doing?



Main responsibilities:



Marketing Support



Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and trade channels. Maintain and update the company website and social media accounts with current product, service, and event information. Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva Magic Studio, or similar) to draft marketing copy, social media posts, and email content. Help analyse marketing data and generate reports using AI-driven analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot Insights, or Power BI with AI). Support trade shows, open houses, and promotional events -- including logistics, vendor coordination, and branded materials. Conduct market and competitor research using AI and automation tools to identify trends and new opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across materials.

Administrative Duties



Provide day-to-day administrative support to marketing, sales, and management teams. Use AI-powered tools to streamline scheduling, document preparation, and internal communications. Maintain organized records, digital files, and CRM databases. Assist in preparing quotes, purchase orders, and invoices related to marketing or promotional activities. Manage meeting schedules, travel arrangements, and correspondence. Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Order and maintain office and marketing supplies.

Requirements and prospects



Desired skills



Some experience in marketing and administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, analytics, or automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva AI, Notion AI, or Microsoft Copilot). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with CRM and marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce), preferrable Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Interest in new technologies and continuous learning.
