We are looking for a

Marketing Administrator

to join our growing team at Thompsons. Our in-house marketing team plays a key role in making sure our values, campaigns, and client stories are shared widely and powerfully. We work closely with colleagues across the firm to promote our specialist legal services and highlight the real-world impact of our work. Together, we manage a wide range of activity from national awareness campaigns and digital content to press engagement and events ensuring that the voice of Thompsons remains clear, consistent, and always focused on the people we fight for.###

Key Responsibilities





This role is responsible for supporting the smooth delivery of the firm's marketing and communications activity by coordinating daily workflows, managing key administrative processes, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of content, data, and requests. The role provides essential support across campaigns, PR, events, mailings, and content production, helping maintain operational efficiency and enabling the wider marketing team to deliver high-quality outputs.



Day-today responsibilities may include:


Manage the day-to-day activity within the marketing inbox, coordinating internal and external requests with team members and colleagues across the firm. Coordinate marketing mailings, including Employment Law Review distributions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Support the coordination of content and updates for our Union audiences. Maintain and update the case study tracker, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Coordinate and update data within HubSpot, including managing bouncebacks and opt-outs. Carry out regular data cleansing to maintain high-quality and reliable marketing records. Manage the ordering of promotional items and branded materials. Coordinate print requests in collaboration with the Content Assistant, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy. Work with the Communications Manager to identify and manage day-to-day PR opportunities, using a triage process to escalate high-value opportunities to our external PR consultant and coordinating content for lower-tier opportunities. Support the recycling and localisation of content across regions to maximise visibility and relevance. Coordinate award submissions, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met. Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across the firm. Assist with coordinating content for adverts, sponsorships, and associated promotional activity. Support the Events Manager in the planning, preparation, and delivery of event-related content. Provide general support to the wider marketing team with day-to-day activities as required. Provide cover for the Content Assistant during periods of absence.

Who we are looking for...





We're looking for a motivated and organised individual with strong written and verbal communication skills and great attention to detail. You'll be comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills. The role requires confidence using Excel and handling data, along with experience working on digital content across websites and social media. Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot is a plus. Basic design or video-editing skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are also helpful. Ideally, you'll have around one year of marketing experience, although a relevant degree is welcomed but not essential.###
