Job Outline & Responsibilities:
The Marketing and Admissions Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing and admissions efforts of Moreton Hall. This position will involve assisting with various tasks, including:
Marketing Support:
Creating and managing marketing materials (e.g. brochures, flyers, digital content)
Assisting with social media content creation and management
Day-to-day coordination of the e-newsletter
Assist in the creation of press releases across domestic and international marketing
Support the coordination of website content (including collating, writing, editing, distributing news) and ensuring all content is up to date
Design internal marketing material
Assist with photography and video capturing, and basic editing
Assist with event planning and promotion, including marketing materials, ticketing, website content and event day support
Undertake daily administrative tasks
Admissions Support:
Support the scheduling and coordination of admissions events (e.g. open days, webinars)
Supporting the admissions team in meeting enrollment targets, both domestic and international
Assist the Head of Admissions with the collation of marketing materials for distribution to relevant bodies and any other tasks Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities as directed by the Head of Admissions
Process new starter documentation
Collate data on enquiries and ensure ISAMS (CRM) is up to date
Alumni Support:
Assist in maintaining and updating InTouch (alumni database), ensuring accurate and up to date contact information
Support the planning and delivery of alumni events and reunions
Person Specification:
Qualifications
Essential:
Qualifications in a marketing and/or communications related field at least A Level or equivalent
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing or administration ideal
Graduate would be considered
Skills
Essential:
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Knowledge of Adobe software, Canva, HTML, CMS, Mailchimp, photography, videography would be advantageous
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy, with experience of proofreading ideal
Knowledge of existing and emerging web tools and social media platforms
