Role Overview



As our Marketing and Business Development Executive, you'll drive J700 Group Ltd's visibility and growth by crafting compelling marketing strategies while supporting client acquisition through sales meetings. This flexible role (part-time 16 hours/week or full-time 37.5 hours/week) combines working from home, attending on-site client meetings, and visiting our office as required. You'll shape our brand, manage social media, create blogs, and explore innovative ways to boost our presence, while joining sales meetings to build client relationships. Key Responsibilities



Branding

: Develop and maintain a consistent, compelling brand identity for J700 Group Ltd, ensuring our IT services stand out in the market.

Messaging

: Craft clear, engaging messaging for marketing materials, campaigns, and client communications that reflect our value proposition.

Targeting

: Identify and target key customer segments (e.g., small-to-medium businesses) to maximise marketing impact.

Marketing Plan

: Create and execute a strategic marketing plan to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

Social Media

: Manage and grow our social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) with regular, high-quality posts to engage audiences.

Blogs

: Write and publish engaging blog content (e.g., IT trends, cybersecurity tips) to attract and educate potential clients.

Increase Visibility

: Explore innovative avenues (e.g., SEO, email campaigns, local advertising) to boost J700 Group Ltd's market presence.

Sales Meetings

: Attend client meetings to support business development, presenting our IT solutions with confidence and enthusiasm.

Collaboration

: Work closely with our passionate sales and technical teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.

Skills and Qualifications



Essential

: Exceptional enthusiasm and work ethic, with a proactive drive to achieve results. Strong communication and creative skills to craft compelling marketing content and engage clients in sales meetings. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple marketing projects and priorities. Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) and content creation. Ability to represent J700 Group Ltd professionally at client meetings and events.

Current clean UK driving licence

and ownership of a personal vehicle (for travel to meetings, client sites, the office and events is required).

Desirable

: Experience in marketing, communications, or business development, ideally in IT or technology (not essential, as we prioritise enthusiasm and potential). Knowledge of IT services, managed services, or the MSP industry. (not essential, as we prioritise enthusiasm and potential) Experience with CRM tools or marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp). Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, or blog writing.
