You will be part of the marketing team while also collaborating with a wide range of colleagues across the company, giving you exposure to different functions and perspectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Audience & Market Research
Support the Marketing & Sustainability Lead by carrying out basic competitor research (e.g. monitoring LinkedIn posts, website updates, PR releases) and share any relevant insights with the sales and marketing team
Collect and summarise industry news articles or reports for review.
Help maintain sector research folders for automotive, hospitality, and enterprise.
2. Content & Messaging Strategy
Draft first versions of blogs, social posts, and customer communications (the Marketing & Sustainability Lead to edit and finalise).
Assist in creating simple graphics/infographics using Canva or similar tools - ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Support the gathering of content (customer testimonials, team updates, event photos) for use in campaigns.
3. Outbound & Inbound Campaigns
Prepare email templates or campaign drafts in HubSpot (the Marketing & Sustainability Lead to finalise and send).
Schedule LinkedIn posts under guidance.
Monitor comments and engagement, flagging anything notable.
4. Tools, Data & CRM Management
Assist in cleaning and updating CRM records (names, job titles, emails).
Help with list preparation for campaigns (checking for duplicates, formatting, tagging).
Update campaign dashboards with engagement stats.
Support UTM tagging and simple campaign tracking.
Learn to use HubSpot and other marketing tools at a basic level.
5. Brand Awareness Activities
Schedule and publish posts on LinkedIn according to the marketing calendar.
Draft simple PR or news updates for review.
Support the logistics of webinars and events (invites, follow-up comms, gathering attendee lists).
7. Collaboration with Sales & Teams
Collect case study material by interviewing colleagues or drafting questionnaires.
8. Events & Partnerships
Provide admin and creative support for trade shows (design tweaks, social posts, photography).
Help collate and organise materials from vendors and partners.
9. Budget & Reporting (support only)
Maintain a simple spreadsheet of costs incurred vs budgeted (final ownership sits with the Marketing & Sustainability Lead).
Gather data for ROI reporting (e.g. exporting HubSpot campaign statistics or similar tools).
Assist the Marketing & Sustainability Lead by tracking invoices and expenses related to campaigns and events.
Qualifications and experience required for this role:
Attention to detail, creativity, and strong organisational skills
An interest in digital marketing and communications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to monitor industry news and trends
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
Interest or experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, or events
Ability to update and maintain content using CMS platforms
