Job Description

Job Summary



The Marketing & Communications Executive is responsible for managing brand presence and reputation across all channels within the Group and its subsidiaries (currently Kensite & AES). They will lead on internal and external communications, websites, paid advertising, social media, awards, and creative campaigns, while also providing the business with professional, branded documents and marketing support. The role combines creative content production, digital marketing expertise, and brand development. Collaborate with divisional teams to align messaging, campaigns, and design across Kensite & AES, ensuring unified storytelling while respecting each brand's identity.

Key Responsibilities:



Brand Development



Act as the brand guardian, ensuring tone and values are consistently represented. Develop and evolve the Group brand to stay ahead of competitors and resonate with customers and employees. Manage relationships with media, trade publications, and PR outlets. Draft and issue press releases, news articles, and feature pieces to secure positive coverage. Identify and prepare entries for industry awards and recognition opportunities.

Digital Marketing & Website



Manage and update websites (content, imagery, SEO, case studies, blogs). Run and optimise Google Ads (PPC) campaigns, reporting on ROI. Monitor SEO performance and implement improvements. Track analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console, PPC dashboards) and provide insight reports. Work with external developers for technical upgrades or redesigns.

External Communications & Content



Own the Groups social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), creating content that grows audience and engagement. Capture and produce high-quality imagery, video, and graphics showcasing people, projects, and products. Deliver a structured content calendar in line with business goals and seasonal campaigns. Produce brochures, case studies, promotional campaigns, and sales collateral

Internal Communications



Design and deliver staff newsletters, updates, and company announcements. Support culture-building initiatives, including employee recognition and internal events. Ensure internal documents, training packs, and presentations are professional and on-brand.

Business-Wide Marketing Support



Provide creative support to all departments with documents, tenders, proposals, presentations, and branded templates. Maintain a central library of brand assets and templates for consistent use across the business. Offer advice and hands-on help for any team needing customer-facing or staff-facing marketing materials.

Events & Campaigns



Support the planning, promotion, and delivery of customer events, exhibitions, and employee experiences. Capture live content from events to extend visibility online. Create multi-channel campaigns that boost brand awareness and reinforce market position.

Experience:



Minimum 2 years in a marketing and communications position.

Experience managing press campaigns, social media channels, and award submissions.

Proven ability to work across multiple business units or brands.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong portfolio of creative content (social, video, print, graphics).

Excellent written and visual communication skills.

Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools.

Experience in Google Ads, SEO, and website management.

Strong design and document formatting skills (tenders, presentations).

Organised, proactive, and analytical with a collaborative mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-34,000.00 per year
