About the role
We are looking for a
creative, proactive Marketing and Communications Executive
to help shape and grow the Aura Care Living brand. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same -- perfect for someone who enjoys combining creativity with organisation. You'll play a key role in increasing brand awareness, strengthening community connections, and supporting enquiries through engaging marketing campaigns, digital content, events, and communications. This is an exciting opportunity to
help build a brand from the ground up
within a growing care group, with plenty of scope to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaigns
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns that support enquiries, occupancy, and brand awareness
Monitor campaign performance and produce informative marketing reports
Analyse marketing sources (website, social media, referrals, campaigns) to understand what's working and where to improve
Social Media & Content
Manage Aura Care Living's social media channels
Plan and schedule content using a content calendar
Create engaging posts that showcase life at the care home, including events, residents, and staff (with appropriate consent)
Track engagement and suggest ideas to continuously improve content
Website Management
Keep the website fresh and up to date with news, events, and key information
Ensure all content reflects Aura Care Living's values, tone, and brand identity
Events
Help plan, promote, and deliver events such as open days, community events, and seasonal celebrations
Coordinate event materials, promotion, and on-the-day support
Awards & PR
Research relevant local and care sector awards
Write and submit award entries, working closely with the wider team to gather information
Merchandise & Materials
Source and order branded merchandise and marketing materials
Liaise with suppliers and manage small marketing budgets responsibly
General
Ensure all marketing activity aligns with Aura Care Living's values and care standards
Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all communications
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a marketing or communications role
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
Experience managing social media for a business or organisation
Well organised, with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing your own priorities
Desirable
Experience updating websites or using a CMS
Experience producing basic marketing reports and analysing performance
Graphic design experience (e.g. Adobe or similar)
