We are looking for a proactive and creative
Marketing & Communications Executive
to join our growing family run pub company, working closely alongside our Communications Manager and the wider operations team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business, supporting the delivery of clear, engaging and on-brand marketing across our pubs.
You'll work in regular contact with our General Managers, helping to bring each pub's personality to life while maintaining a consistent company voice. From promoting seasonal menus and events to supporting recruitment, community engagement and brand storytelling, this role plays a key part in driving footfall, loyalty and exceptional customer experiences.
Our pubs are built on high-quality food and drink, warm hospitality and genuinely personable teams. We're looking for someone who understands the rhythm of pub life, enjoys collaborating with people at all levels of the business, and takes pride in creating marketing that feels authentic, welcoming and effective.
A passion for food and drink and some experience within hospitality would be beneficial whether that's within marketing or from previous hands on experience working in pubs or restaurants.
Your responsibilities...
You will be responsible for planning, creating and refining engaging digital content across our website, social media channels, email campaigns and other digital platforms.
This role plays a key part in driving engagement, supporting our pubs day to day, and creating content that genuinely connects with our guests and local communities. You'll take ownership of our digital content, ensuring it reflects our values as a family pub company built on quality, great service and welcoming, down-to-earth hospitality.
Brand & Communications -
Support the Communications Manager in delivering the company's overall marketing and communications strategy.
Content Creation -
Create engaging content for social media, websites, email marketing and in-pub marketing materials. Work closely alongside the Social Media Managers (SM Managers) from each pub to achieve this.
Social Media & Digital -
Manage and schedule social media content for individual pubs and the wider group - manage the social media calendar.
Website & Digital Platforms -
Maintain and update pub websites, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Campaigns & Promotions -
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for seasonal menus, events, offers and key trading periods.
Internal Communications -
Assist with staff updates, launches, training communications and recruitment campaigns. Update and manage the Stange staff training portal.
Skills required...
Creative & Technical Skills -
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop as well as ability to update and maintain websites using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Craft CMS or similar).
Good photography skills
, including food, drink, interiors and people, with an eye for natural, authentic imagery.
Basic video capture and editing skills
for social media content (Reels, Stories, short-form video).
Ability to design and format marketing materials
such as posters, flyers, menus and digital assets.
Social Media & Digital -
Confident use of key social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
Copywriting & Communication -
Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Organisation & Campaign Delivery -
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple pubs, projects and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail
to ensure accuracy across all communications.
People & Collaboration -
Confident working closely with General Managers, kitchen teams and operations staff.
