Job Description

IPM Facilities Ltd is looking for Media and Communications Manager.



The candidate should be able to shape the company's public image and brand message through a variety of channels, including social media, press releases, public relations (PR), and marketing campaigns.

The candidate will manage both internal communications with employees and external communications with the public, media, and other stakeholders.

Key roles and responsibilities:



Developing communication strategy:

To design and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with the company's strategic goals, creating messaging for key audiences and setting measurable objectives.

Managing public relations:

To oversee media relations, acting as the main point of contact for media inquiries and building relationships within the industry. Being responsible for drafting and distributing press releases.

Creating content:

To supervise the creation of a wide range of content, from social media posts and blog entries to newsletters, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring all content is on-brand, accurate, and impactful. To manage the Company website, update its content, refreshing and updating to ensure its accuracy to the latest company information.

Brand strategy:

To develop and implement a plan that defines a company's identity, values, mission, and how it will position itself in the market to achieve its business objectives with its clients and in competition with competitors

Internal Communications:

Coordinate efforts to keep internal audiences informed and aligned with the Company's mission and message

Overseeing social media:

To develop and execute social media strategies, ensuring consistent branding across all platforms. To monitor engagement and use analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.

Managing industry award presentations:

To effectively manage award submissions, you must establish contact with relevant industry bodies to understand award criteria, then craft compelling, authentic submissions by using clear evidence, statistics, and client testimonials to highlight achievements and demonstrate impact, and finally, ensuring the submission is professional, well-presented, and aligns with the award's focus.

Liaising with stakeholders:

This role requires building and maintaining relationships with a variety of internal and external partners, including senior leadership, employees, clients, and external agencies.

Crisis Management:

Manage communications during challenging situations to protect the organization's reputation.

Essential skills and qualifications:



Exceptional Writing & Editing: Strong ability to craft clear, compelling, and accurate messages for different audiences. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term plans and adapt tactics to meet communication objectives. Media Savvy: Deep understanding of media landscapes, including digital media and social platforms. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including journalists and senior leadership. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data to understand campaign success and inform future strategies. Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns that capture attention and engage audiences. Strategic thinking: The ability to see the bigger picture and develop long-term strategies that align with business objectives is crucial. Adaptability: Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines. Digital literacy: Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms and content management systems is expected
